Birdeye alternatives (with real prices, and two free ones)
You wanted more Google reviews. Birdeye wanted your phone number and your location count before it would show a price. If that felt like a lot, you're not the only one.
For small businesses that mostly need more reviews and a way to show them off, and agencies that want a review tool they can quote to clients without a sales call.
Prices on this page were checked on each tool's own pricing page on Nov 3, 2026.
What Birdeye costs (honest answer)
We can't tell you. On Nov 3, 2026, Birdeye's pricing page asked for your number of locations, name and mobile number, then a "Get pricing" button. No numbers on the page. It describes "one platform, one contract."
Birdeye does a lot: reviews, messaging, surveys and AI agents for multi-location brands. If you only need the reviews part, you're probably paying for the rest too. (Comparing Birdeye to Podium head-to-head? See our Birdeye vs Podium page.)
First: what do you actually need?
Most small businesses need two things: ask happy customers for a review by text or email, and show the good ones on their website. The tools below do one or both, and every one shows a price.
The free Birdeye alternatives
Trustindex has a free package "for free forever" for review widgets, and its paid Single plan was $65 a year (about $5.42 a month) for one company.
EmbedSocial has a free plan with one review source, and Pro was $29 a month billed monthly ($24 billed yearly).
And the free-est option of all: get your Google review link from your Google Business Profile and text it to every happy customer. That alone beats most paid tools that nobody sets up.

- Birdeye's prices. Its page asks for your details before showing any. If you get a quote, ask for the contract length in writing.
- We didn't test review request open rates or how many reviews each tool actually brings in.
